Feeble bass (Percoidea infirmus)
Despite its name, the feeble bass is known to be able to withstand a wide variety of water types. Ironically is unable to acclimatise outside of its natural range due to its weak nature making it vulnerable to predators.
The feeble bass is listed on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species as critically endangered. This is mainly due to habitat destruction as the bass is only known to naturally occur in two locations. The introduction of invasive species and poaching has also lowered the wild population.
